Backyard National Park
Presented by Kit Marlowe
You almost certainly know that the birds and animals are disappearing from the natural world and that government is doing way too little to restore or protect them. You probably know that plants and insects play an important role in sustaining the environment. Kit Marlowe will present ways that, in your own yard and neighborhood, you can resist that environmental collapse.
Kit worked for years in the environmental engineering field. The Cape May Bird Observatory gave him the 2020 Brush Bruiser Award for the thousands of hours combatting invasive plants that choke the healthy ecosystem near his home. If you are a fan of Professor Doug Tallamy, you might already understand Kit’s message. He hopes that you will come out to show support.
