As we approach the high holy seasons of both Passover and Easter, we find ourselves bound at home and threatened by a plague that spreads across the land. It is a good time to consider the messages of liberation told by the ancient Hebrews and the early followers of Jesus of Nazareth as they faced their own dark and frightening times.
