One of the most important tenets of Unitarian Universalism is that your actions speak louder than words. Your beliefs derive their power not from what you think or feel, but by how you DO.

A key component of how UUs interact with the world, and mandated by several of our 7 principles, is taking action to make the world a better place.

Some of the areas requiring our hands-on engagement with the world that are near and dear to our heart are:

Environmental Stewardship: water conservation, native plants, climate change

Personal respect: LGBT support, Coalition Against Rape and Abuse

Anti-Racism: Anti Racism Task Force, Black Lives Matter

Economic Justice: Family Promise of Atlantic County, Community FoodBank support
