With Guest Musician Suzzette Ortiz

Hailing from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, a gifted pianist, singer, arranger, recording artist, and composer. She is versatile across many musical styles and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico and a Master’s degree in Music Education from Temple University. She has received multiple awards from the city of Camden and the US senate including the Martin Luther freedom medal for her work as a teacher. As a pianist, Ortiz has been a luminary in Philadelphia’s Latin Music scene for the better part of two decades. Suzzette is also a certified music practitioner with the MHTP (Music for Healing and Transition Program), playing harp and providing comfort music to patients in homes, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice settings.
