Embracing Possibilities: An Easter Reflection
Presented by Jessica Dunn Safonof, UUCSJS Director of Religious Education

This Easter service invites us to embrace the possibilities of renewal, hope, and transformation that appear all around us in the turning of the seasons. In the spirit of Unitarian Universalism, we will explore Easter as a powerful metaphor for rebirth. We will also reflect on the remarkable journey of the caterpillar becoming a butterfly, a vivid reminder that change is part of the sacred rhythm of life.

Jessica Dunn-Safonof has been a member of UUCSJS for over ten years and has served our congregation in many ways, including as an RE volunteer, RE Committee Chair, and as Secretary of the Board. She worked as a mental health case manager in children’s residential treatment facilities before leaving that field to homeschool her children. She has been the Director of Religious Education at UUCSJS since 2018.
