Welcome to “Our Town”
Presented by Cynthia Grzywinski

For this holiday season, let’s go back to the turn of the 20 th century to visit the fictional New Hampshire town of Grover’s Corners, the place and people characterized by American author Thornton Wilder in his 1938 play “Our Town”. Its main themes of connection, community, love and loss culminate in the way we see or not see the world and everything in it. Just ask the dead.

Cynthia, a UUCSJS member, has been affiliated with this congregation since 2005. Currently she is a member of the Nominations Committee, UUCSJS choir and Buddhist Sangha. A former FAA Engineering Research Psychologist, she worked in the aeronautical field for 28 years before her retirement in 2017. A lover of music, Cynthia also plays piano and flute and sings in the Grace Notes Hospice Choir.
