Laura Kushner
Finding love for ourselves and those around us in these polarizing times. Pulling from our 1st principle, the inherent worth and dignity of every person. How can we apply this mindset for self healing and tolerance for “others”, while living in a society where our political and social issues are so different.
Laura Kushner graduated from Drew Theological School in 2023, where she earned her Masters of Divinity. She currently works at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital as a chaplain. As part of her work she continues her studies to become a certified chaplain and her work toward ordination.
Prior to her call to ministry she taught nursery school for 31 years. Laura is a long time member of the Montclair Congregation and a lifelong resident of West Orange New Jersey.
