The Long Loneliness and the Harsh and Dreadful Love
Lay speaker James Gentile
A celebration of the legacy of Dorothy Day and the Catholic Worker movement. Dorothy Day was a journalist, social activist, and a convert to Catholicism. She taught the Berrigan brothers about non-violent resistance, and believed it was just as important to feed the poor as it was to get arrested for protesting nuclear weapons. Popes loved her. Bishops, not so much.
