UUCSJS’s 16th Annual Auction will be held virtually this year.
UUCSJS’s 16th Annual Auction will be held virtually this year.
This year’s auction will look quite different from past auctions in several ways. For one thing, the auction will start (via email/Google forms) on Saturday, November 6 and culminate (live on Zoom) on Saturday, November 13, beginning at 7 pm. Featured that night on Zoom will be the LIVE AUCTION, hosted by Heather Swenson Brilla and others, and drawings will be held to determine winners of the small dinners. Chance winners will be announced, and unfilled spaces and unsold items will be re-opened for bidding.
The two-part auction CATALOG will be sent to members and friends electronically, by email, on Friday, November 5, and bidding begins the very next day. TO BID, you will use the four (4) interactive FORMS sent to you on Saturday, November 6, where you may pick your choices for small dinners, buy fixed price items, and more. You can purchase Chance “virtual tickets” and start spending them on items you like. Take careful note that BIDDING CLOSES at 12 noon on Saturday, November 13, to allow time for winners to be chosen by random number generators, where needed. The auction will go LIVE again that evening beginning at 7 pm, so be sure to tune in on Zoom.
This event has never been possible without the generosity of many; it is certainly a team effort. Thanks to ALL of you who have participated and helped already and who will manage the auction night Zoom in person at the UU Center. Most of all, thanks to those who donated to the auction and to generous members and friends who will bid enthusiastically.
